Cynthia Whitaker
Cynthia Whitaker's path to interior design began while studying architecture, where she discovered a lasting interest in the relationship between people and the spaces around them. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Florida International University and developed her perspective through years of hands-on experience and collaboration.
Growing up between Miami and Colombia and traveling extensively, Cynthia draws from a broad range of cultural and visual influences. Her work brings together warmth, elegance, color, and an appreciation for interiors that feel collected rather than prescribed.
Cynthia established her firm in 2006 and has completed projects in South Florida and destinations including Aspen, Phoenix, the Hamptons, and Connecticut. She believes that the strongest design begins with listening and that a successful home should reflect the personality, needs, and aspirations of the client.
Carolina Velasquez
Carolina Velasquez brings a people-centered perspective shaped by her background in social services and design. After a 15-year tenure with PACE Center for Girls, she transitioned into the design field and spent another 15 years with Toby Zack Designs, contributing to projects in a range of locations.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Carolina combines practical understanding with a passion for creating spaces that feel beautiful, safe, and memorable. Her partnership with Cynthia brings together two complementary viewpoints and a shared commitment to thoughtful, personal design.
Our Approach
We see clients as essential collaborators. Their routines, preferences, memories, and ambitions establish the personality of a project. Our role is to listen closely, create a clear design direction, and guide the many choices that transform those ideas into a unified home.
